The Massage Room

Stepping Stone Massage Therapy is located in the home of Danae Beitzel in Cumberland, Maryland. The massage room is created for privacy and is a relaxing atmosphere where you can fully unwind and take time for yourself.

About

Throughout the course of life, I believe that we are continually taking steps that bring us either toward wellness and health or away from it. My desire is to be one step of many helping you move closer to renewal and wholeness. I believe that massage therapy can help restore the body and bring it back into its intended state. I view communication as vital and I try to communicate clearly with you so that each session can be formed specifically to your needs. You may be dealing with chronic pain, muscle tension, stress, depression, migraines, fibromyalgia…or maybe you simply need to relax in a stress-free environment. Whatever you are dealing with I would love the opportunity to work with you.

About Danae Beitzel

Hi, my name is Danae Beitzel and I studied Massage Therapy at Allegany College of Maryland. I graduated as a Licensed Massage Therapist in August of 2019 and with an Associates in Applied Science in May of 2020. I began my journey in massage therapy when I began to understand how it was helping my mom cope with the constant pain from different issues like Fibromyalgia. My eyes were opened and continue to be opened to the many benefits that massage therapy offers. I have always loved to help people and be a listening ear to those struggling, whether physically or emotionally. Massage therapy is the perfect place for me to offer restoration for the body and a calm space for the mind.

I grew up in Sudbury, Ontario, Canada where I learned to love camping, canoeing, and picking wild blueberries. I spent several years in Irwin, Ohio where I earned an Associates in General Biblical Education at Rosedale Bible College. I moved to Maryland in 2013 when I married my wonderful husband, Daniel. We enjoy traveling, hiking, gardening, music, meeting new friends, and going on adventures together. The adventure of Massage Therapy has been exciting, and I am always interested in learning how I can best serve you.
